Vital Signs
According to Dr. Richard Pitcairn’s, “Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs and Cats”, the following applies to your dog:
Body Temperature
100.5 to 101.5 F / 38.05 to 38.6 C
If temperature taken at home; may be slightly higher if at a vet’s office. This range is more restrictive than what vet’s use, it is more accurate due to experience with FEVER cases.
Pulse
70-120 beats / minute, at rest
Pulse rate higher if excited or physical exertion. Lower rate is normal for large dogs; higher rate in small dogs.
Respiratory Rate
10-30 breaths / minute, at rest
Respiratory rate higher if excited or physical exertion. Generally faster in smaller dogs.
Common Dog “System Damaging Products”, Do Not Use
Most of these products below are marketed specifically for dogs. I am not addressing toxic industry food here, as all industry food does not support a strong, healthy, pain-free feline body. Nor am I addressing every pharmaceutical product, which in most cases, cause immense harm to the body.
Please do not use any of these products in or on your animal ever. You will be causing damage to the body and inflicting unbelievable pain. I am referring to organ, neuro and cellular damage.
- Advantage II, or any Flea and Tick Products
- Anti-Anxiety Medications – ALL: If you think your dog needs these, please call me; good information found here too.
- Bordetella Vx: Please do your homework and find out what is in this needle; this is completely useless, almost fraudulent
- Bravecto: Deadly, should not be on the market
- Cerenia: Lethal drug, manipulates the brain, hurts and damages the body; do not allow this into your animal
- DA2LPPC Vx etc: Please do your homework thoroughly before this is given to your dog
- Drontal: For worming, absolutely lethal for the body and hurts the heart, liver and kidneys.
- Lyme Vx: Never give this to your animal; deep dive on this for information and damage
- Nutricalm
- Optixcare Eye Cleaning Wipes
- Optixcare L-Lysine Chews
- Panacur: For worming, absolutely lethal for the body and does damage to the heart, liver and kidneys.
- Profender MD, and all heart worm pharma, damage not only the neuro system but also all the organs. Should not be on the market.
- Rabies Vx: Please do your homework and find out what is in this needle; it is not what you might think
- Revolution, or any Flea and Tick Products
- Strongid-T, and all heart worm pharma, so much damage and pain caused
- Therabit Mellow Soft Chews
- Verm-X Crunchies: full of toxic garbage
- Zylkene
With regards to all pharmaceuticals, chemicals, please search for the Material Safety & Data Sheet (MSDS) on line which spells out the potential damage each pharmaceutical does to your animal’s body or go here for this site’s pdf on each. And they all do, damage. Please do not let ANYTHING go into your animal’s body just because of protocols. Please question and protect your pet.

Dr. Khalsa’s Natural Dog, 2nd Edition by Deva Khalsa, VMD
Dr. Khalsa has been practising naturally for years. We reached out to her when Sienna developed her paw issues and skin issues in 2012/2013. This is when I learned about NAET therapy. Dr. Khalsa has a lot great videos to watch on line educating pet parents how damaging some of the mainstream protocols are. Her book is a great investment.

Dogs Naturally actually triggered the re-printing of this book. I thought it was very interesting as I was looking to see what was said about diet for canines. And of course, “it is a bit of everything” from nature. Definitely worth reading to challenge belief systems.
The Naturally Healthy Dog, Real Dogs Don’t Eat Kibble! By Sandra Bailey
Sandra’s book is an easy, concise, and very informative read about the pet food industry, what is happening to canines due to current pet care protocols and why it is so important to feed your dog naturally with real food. She also provides information about the canine body and stresses the importance of journaling.

Steve Brown is the founder of Steve’s Real Foods. What I am not in agreement with is the mixing of animal proteins, and the addition of medicine in the food, and fruit with the meat.
Animal Self-Medication, How Animals Heal Themselves and Help Your Dog Heal Itself by Caroline Ingraham
This is a must have in every pet parent’s possession. The wealth of information about how animals heal themselves through self-selection takes us back to nature and respecting the animal. We have travelled so far away from what the planet provides, this brings us back to what we all should really know.

The Holistic Animal Handbook, A Guide to Nutrition, Health and Communication by Kate Solisti-Mattelon and Patrice Mattelon
Books & Websites | Leadership & Behaviour
This canine’s behaviour above, is most likely a result of lack of leadership. The “leader” is trying to get to his / her pack.
There are so many books and resources out there on behaviour, but by far, these are the three people I believe know canines, respect canines, and speak canine via leadership not dominance: Jan Fennell, Cesar Milan, and Turid Rugaas.
Jan Fennell
The Dog Listener and The Puppy Listener by Jan Fennell http://janfennellthedoglistener.com
Jan Fennell’s e-books are also excellent to listen to, over and over again. They may be found here: http://janfennellthedoglistener.com/products/index/Books
Jan began investigating how dogs communicated around the same time Monty Roberts was studying horses. When one of Jan’s dogs jumped through her sliding glass door, and the dog’s life was ended, something told her that this was not the dog’s “fault”.
She later learned through observing pack behaviour, that her dog, in hindsight, was trying to protect the pack from a “dog perspective”. At the time she did not understand, but made it her life’s work to do so. She has created four pillars which if one implements and respects, any dog will have a sound, happy, calm, joyful life.
Cesar Milan
Cesar’s Way: The Natural, Everyday Guide to Understanding and Correcting Common Dog Problems and Be the Pack Leader: Use Cesar’s Way to Transform Your Dog…and Your Life by Cesar Milan
Pack leadership is essential to understand when one is honoured to live with a canine or two. It is NOT about dominance, it is about ENERGY and signaling the canine in canine-language that they are safe under your leadership. I find people often misunderstand the difference.
Cesar is all about “follow me, I got your back”. He is about signaling to the canine that they are safe in the human world, that they do not need to manage their humans, but instead be part of the pack, because their human “has their back” at all times.
Without the correct information passed to the canine, in canine language, they are “in their world” then forced to take on a role which they are not equipped to manage, as someone MUST do the job. This then can lead to STRESS and a whole host of behavioral and physical problems. It is not something to take lightly. Are you, your canine’s leader from their perspective? A question every pet owner needs to ask, and then implement if the answer is, no.
Turid Rugaas
Turid comes from the perspective of the canine. It is all about how the dog sees the world and giving them the information, they need in order to function within our “human experience”.
On Talking Terms with Dogs: Calming Signals by Turid Rugaas
I love this book, for its simplicity and photos. Turid is very clear in her teachings.
Also, by Turid, Barking, The Sound of Language, My Dog Pulls. What Do I Do? and Calming Signals What Your Dog Tells You are all great investments.
Please check if your animal is perhaps in pain. There is more often than not a link between unwanted behaviour and pain.
If a dog is showing imbalanced behaviour, eating odd things or aggression, pain must be investigated first. Is the animal in pain? Is this why they are acting out? Often, the answer is yes.
A Zoopharmacognosey session will allow the animal the opportunity to tell you. It is really humbling when you see an animal’s body deeply relax after being in such a “bad state” for so long. A lot of this is linked to neutering and spaying, sometimes old injuries, and sometimes, it is linked to deep trauma which the animal needs gentle help and much compassion, releasing.

Heartworm | Natural Prevention
Please do not hurt your beautiful dog with the lethal pharma heartworm drugs such as PANACUR. They damage the heart. Please go the natural, non-toxic route to support the body’s immune system using nosodes.
Pet parents are constantly fed a lot of fear. This is how the veterinary industry makes money. If you live in a prevalent heart worm area, then use nosodes, if not, then do not “buy into” the relentless marketing. Your animal on a clean fresh, alive diet is designed to handle nature.
The key is toxicity. Nothing toxic should be used in or around the home, on their body or fed internally to the body. Parasites only thrive in compromised terrain. They do not thrive in a strong, balanced system.
Nosodes may be purchased here: https://vitalanimal.com/drugfreeheartworm/ or from a homeopathic veterinarian.

Websites & Information | Healing Structure & ACL Injury
About Torn ACL’s
If an ACL is torn – and not through trauma like a car accident, just through living life, then this is a SYMPTOM. If you repair this surgically, the other side will rupture too. It is almost guaranteed. Because the issue has not been addressed. The body is providing a SYMPTOM away from the organs, at the back end of the body to tell everyone, the body is in trouble. This is not a LIGAMENT issue. This is a whole-body issue. Therefore, attention to the entire being is required for healing. By focusing on the whole body, the ligament will then repair itself and the other side will not rupture. This is very important to understand. Diet and toxicity are always major factors which need to be addressed here, as the spleen, liver, pancreas and kidneys are most likely struggling.
From my perspective in practise, structure issues are largely due to a leaky gut. The animal is not getting the nutrients due to the stomach being burned by bad food, vaccinations, and flea and tick products. The gut must be sealed, healed, the diet addressed, the toxins stopped, bacteria balance reinstalled, along with massive of amounts of energy flooded into the system.
If this is not done – this is why the other leg will suffer. The vet’s will always tell the pet owner, “the other leg will go.”
Things to look at – what is lacking in the diet mineral and vitamin wise, is the animal being overfed? What is the exposure to radiation, Wi-Fi, water source, chemicals being used in the house and on the people living in the house, and what is the pharma-toxicity in the body? Homeopathy and zoopharmacognosey are fabulous tools for helping the body get back on track with changes in diet and loads of dowsing until the animal’s energy level and frequency is maintained at their ideal levels.
Other People’s Perspectives
Tigger Poz

This is a fabulous read. The site owner’s Rottweiler ruptured both ligaments and they healed naturally. During this process, Trevor investigated heavily to make sure he was making the best decision for his animal. His website is about his findings and research.

If one uses muscle testing, then the homeopathic dosing, the right remedy or remedies, and the frequency may be determined for this specific being. There is undoubtedly a toxic load the body is carrying which also needs to be addressed. It is about drilling down into why this issue exists, and the non-invasive, non-toxic methodology to implement to help the body heal.

“RESULTS After adjusting for body weight in the multivariable model, dogs with a history of TPLO were 40 times as likely to develop proximal tibial osteosarcoma as were dogs with no history of TPLO. In addition, each 1-kg (2.2-lb) increase in body weight was associated with an 11% increase in the odds of proximal tibial osteosarcoma.”
When one reads about cancer on this website, then you understand what the body is trying to deal with is a HIGH toxic load being implanted into the body via surgery. If heavy metals are involved, I would invite the reader to educate themselves about EMF, as WI-FI leaches metals into the blood stream.
