No Deodorizing Your Animal or Spraying to Prevent Fleas & Ticks

I recently saw an article emailed out to pet owners about deodorizing one’s dog with essential oils which was very alarming. The oils suggested were lavender and orange. This may seem harmless, but is far from.

I also see a lot of suggestions in the Spring to spray your animal with Flea & Tick Mixtures with the like of cedarwood oil, witch hazel, and neem oil. This is not okay to do this to any animal without their consent. This is “human” fear again at play without understanding the consequences of such actions. A few things pet owners need to be aware of:

• If your dog smells, this is because the liver is compromised and is pushing the garbage inside the body out through the skin. This is a chronic skin issue. This means DIET needs to be addressed ASAP and all toxic protocols stopped immediately. The system is struggling. The liver is not coping. Please DO NOT apply essential oils to your animal, understand the body, drill down, and do the real work.
• Essential oils are medicine. They have medicinal properties, and one cannot just use them candidly on another. They each have healing properties which will impact every system in the body either positively or negatively. If the smell smells good to the person – this means THEIR body needs these plant properties, not their animal. This is what our sense of smell is for. What do we need?
• Animals ALWAYS choose during a healing session what they need to process in order to rebalance. If an animal smells, an animal will most likely choose a lot of liver cleaning remedies, and probably antibacterial remedies as the gut is off. Maybe anxiety is driving this too. Only they know what they need, the amount, the time to process, the order in which they process the oils. Humans must stop thinking we know best. The animals know. It is time we all start listening.
• Applying such a remedy to an animal with an already compromised liver, adds more toxicity to the cleaning organs, the liver, spleen and kidneys. The pet owner will be making the animal’s system weaker, and more toxic. And if other animals, are in the house, their toxic load will be increased too. Cats are hugely impacted negatively by oils, and they will be forced to process what is on the other animal. This is not a small deal. This is a big deal. The application will be doing the exact opposite of what the pet owner wishes to accomplish.
