Our planet earth, Terra, is a sentient being. All animals are sentient beings. All life on the planet is sentient. What does sentient mean?
To feel.
Most humans walk around so disconnected from all that is, disconnected from the fact that each one of us is connected to another, and all the life on this planet. They have no understanding who they really are as a species. As a result, the living breathing life of our soil has been allowed to be abused and destroyed along with its intricate ecosystems, which encompasses so many other species homes and their families. This is what our disconnection has and is creating.
However, some humans understand food is life and the very life and quality of the food depends on the soil, how this is treated and looked after in alignment with the natural laws of the planet which of course, encompasses the planet herself, how we treat her body, her life force.
These are some of their stories of how life was given back to the land through regenerative framing, where knowledge was gained about how so many eco-systems are dependent on one another, how everything magically looks after the other in the rhythms of nature when this is understood, nurtured, and cared for. The animals and all wildlife are an important part of this system, of course, as everything is so interconnected.
What has this got to do with our animals? All animals should be fed a fresh-alive diet sourced from healthy soil. Not processed garbage from a production plant full of glyphosate and GMO’s, nanoparticles etc. Our soil is our home, it is supposed to support our life-force as it does our animals, and our microbiome are supposed to map this eco-system. This is how we are all designed.
Everything is connected.
We support all our local farms as much as possible. They produce beautiful food and work hard to do so. This is love, this is life. People would stop me and comment on all the beautiful food I was buying, and I would say it is for my cats and dogs and their mouths would drop! 😊. This is where we must all go to support life.
The soil is a living breathing eco-system. It is about being good stewards to the land. These humans are doing amazing things and teaching us all along the way how to get back to nature, and all she offers. I have provided brief summaries of each documentary.

I loved this story about reconnecting with the land, the work and the creativity that went into changing derelict land into a thriving eco-system for all plants, wildlife, and animals. A dog was involved in the relocation and lifestyle change too! Just magical! It is well worth watching, a few times. The land is happy and vibrant, and again, just magical. Apricot Lane Farms offers tours if one is in California too.
This is a fabulous documentary educating us all how working with nature and understanding how nature works, and her intelligence, nature provides healthy crops and animals without all the dis-ease and imbalances presented which the chemical companies have been contributing to.
This story I feel is about coming back to our home, waking up and honoring our intelligence and deep connection to this planet, what she has to offer us, and how deeply connected to her we are.
The majority of dis-ease is man-made. And the further we distance ourselves from nature the sicker and more dis-eased, in our mind, body, spirit we have become.
Regenerative Farming increases:
Regenerative Farming decreases:
These farms are located in Arkansas. The owners farm and ranch while keeping the integrity of the land, honoring the soil. Fresh water systems installed are vital to the process, so the animals and land have fresh water and are not using water holes which become soiled and stagnant potentially.

Rotational Grazing
This is a huge part of regenerative grazing, as it is about cycling the animals onto different pastures, acreages so the land may then regenerate. How the animals stand, move, chew, their saliva and their defecation on the land all plays a part in the regeneration and strengthening of the soil, the root system of the plants, and the overall health of the land.
The types of animals, and the geographical environment determines what is planted on the land to support the health of the soil and the animal’s well-being. Ground cover crops, such as grasses, are vital to the land and soil to help the land become strong and vital in nutrients inviting all the microbes and other life to do their intelligent jobs.
Prescribed Grazing
Enhances the soil health of the land, as after harvesting, the animals are then grazed here to help the soil health.
Mycorrhiza Fungus | Extension of a plant’s root system which are very important for the health of the soil.
Harmonious System | Microorganisms | Protozoa, rotifers, tardigrades, nematodes, earth worms, mites, springtails, millipedes, centipedes, spiker, fireflies, soldier beetles and ground beetles, flies, burrowing beetles, ants, dung beetles, ground nesting bees.
What destroys the eco-system? Pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, wasteful water run-off, tilling the soil
No-Till Planting | Famer plants the seeds opening and closing the soil.
Cover Crops | Help Boost the Soil. Cover crops are essential as they stop soil, wind, and water erosion, and help restore nutrients. Legume cover crops, mustard, wheat, vegetables, radishes, oats, for example, interplanting and diversity between the main crops helps the soil and the main crops be healthy and strong.
Soil security = food security. Soil is a living breathing system.
Carbononics is where carbon is currency. If one wants more carbon in the soil then have to have more plants growing more often as there is an exchange going on through all their networks which supports the life of the soil and everything else that engages with it. Plants through photosynthesis produce carbon.
If cash crops are growing from April to October, then cover crops must be grown from October to April to support soil health, boost the carbon in the soil, and overall protect the land. These crops nurture the soil back to health between working the soil.
Microbes are everything. 75 degrees ideal for them just like us. When tilled, can be over 100 degrees, when cover crops planted keeps the temperature more stable in the soil to help keep all the ecosystem thriving and alive.
Modern agriculture is lacking diversity. We are creating all the problems, instead of supporting nature to do its thing which is diverse. Nowhere in nature are crops planted row on row.
Sunflowers are being supported by 10 different cover crops growing below them.

Mark and Jen Shephard own 110 acres in Viola, Wisconsin. Mark emphasizes they are not having to work endlessly trying to hit targets and paying for chemicals and fertilizers that destroy the soil, the land, and all eco-systems. The land knows what to do. It is designed to thrive and generate beautifully and support all the planet’s creatures.
The land and vegetation are so stunning. It feels like you want to jump through the video and join him on his path of exploration around the land. Biomimicry is practiced, honored.
Alley cropping is practiced which is planting between the beautiful trees, hazelnut, chestnut trees to name a few. Black walnut trees grow too which support the animals providing a natural parasite control for them to self-mediate on.
Deciding what to plant, much research was done to see what was on the land prior and centuries ago. STUN, sheer total utter neglect, is practiced which is allowing plants to die off that cannot thrive so the stronger ones can, and the rest become fertilizer.
Oak savannah biome of Upper Mid-West supports more mammals than any other biome on the planet. Goal is to mimic what grew here centuries ago.
Water is managed through ponds with alleys feeding throughout the land. Supports loads of life in them. Very important part of the eco-system.
Birds do not exist on corn and soy fields.
Cattle and pigs help the land. This is managing an eco-system. This is a rich diverse system which manages itself. How you plant the tees and how the animals manage the plants support the system magically, as nature intended.
Massive eco reproduction.

Gabe Brown is a leader in regenerative farming teaching many people how to farm in alliance with nature supporting the planet’s ecosystems while running a successful business. He has five principles of soil health which he teaches us all to help heal the soil on the planet. This is video one of the five principles presented.
I just finished reading his book in 2024 June, Dirt to Soil. It is a fabulous read for all humans wishing to support the ecosystems of the planet I feel as it is packed with wisdom and integrity. Very interesting about the animals too, as he reports taking them ALL off vaccines and toxins, removing all toxic inputs and allowing them to be in their natural state on the land, self-selecting, in total alignment with nature, as divinely designed.
