Red Light Therapy & Our Animals

Most life on this planet is magnetic and full of light. The light our bodies crave is visible light and infrared light shown on the spectrum below. The sun sits on the end of the light spectrum, called infrared, which is yellow and red light. The infrared spectrum, measured in wavelengths by nanometers, nm, runs from 700 nm to 1000 nm with 620 nm, 670 nm, 760 nm and 830 nm being the most beneficial light for healing reported by Mark Sloan in his book, Red Light Therapy.

Technology & Lack of Outdoor Activity

As technology has increased in our lives, the lack of proper light has decreased. We are designed to be fuelled by the sun, the yellow-red rays. Daily lives have morphed into humans being on tech 24/7 with their animals and all life around them being fully exposed to these blue light devices also, not to mention the lack of walking in sunlight daily.

This lifestyle affects how our body, mind and spirit cohesively run and how we heal. This is very important to understand. Between the lights used in building structures, the Wi-Fi exposure and being on devices 24/7 the body is being damaged. And so are our animal’s bodies as we create the environment they live in.

Repairs The Body

Red light therapy reports via studies to restore the enzyme cytochrome c oxidase which helps maximize the oxygen flow into the cells in the body restoring a healthy metabolism. I personally feel it is all about frequency and it is the frequency of this light which negates the toxic frequencies in the body allowing the body to calm down, freeing resources to go back to doing the job they were designed to do. Decay in the body ultimately leads to what is preventing the body from running efficiently. This almost always leads back to toxins and toxin exposure, either via ingestion or exposure including emotional imbalance of the humans. The red light negates the toxins via frequency. Stopping all toxins is ideal which I have highlighted in the Toxicity section of this website so the body is not kept in a cycle.

Therefore, bringing the sunlight to the body is important. And this DOES NOT mean tanning beds which are damaging UV light, but red light, this is a totally different light frequency as it is on the other end of the spectrum – the waves are longer, and easy for the body to assimilate, absorb, the light is healing to the body.

Red Light & Animals

I have not used this therapy yet with animals or myself. I am posting this page on the website for those who do not have access perhaps to other modalities to investigate this. Our animal’s bodies are no different than ours and they will tell you if it benefits them or not, I find they are very clear.

In the meantime, if anyone has any stories they would like to share, please do so, so others may learn what is possible, thank you.
